Pinoso, Alicante

This area, which we are very happy to be living in, offers a seriously good quality of life for those who are serious about such matters!

The cost of living here remains low but unfortunately property prices are rising steadily.

Our clients appreciate the excellent standard of living offered by this area without it being on a tourist trail. However having an International City and airport within 50km does mean that you can join the outside world whenever you wish.

It is also convenient for 10 Golf courses, 2 within 20km and 8 within 60km.

And! only 25km. from the Spar town of Fortuna, with its hot spring waters, beautiful swimming pools, massage centre, steam rooms and water therapy centre.

All our properties are within 10km of the town called Pinoso Situated North West of Alicante, in Spain. It has 6000 inhabitants and is the third richest town in Spain. This is because it owns Marble, Salt, Almonds, Vineyards and other natural resources that it sells throughout the world. The towns wealth can be seen reflected in the quality of the social services, first class amenities and the low taxes paid by the local people. Our municipal rates (the equivalent to council tax) are approximately 70 euros per year for a large older property.

Pinoso is between the Sub Meseta, beginning of the mountain areas and the Sierra Del Carche. The town is surrounded by the Salinas la Pila and El Coto nature reserve. The climate here is kept relatively stable and protected by the mountains. It is 450m above sea level with a mild climate in winter and hot dry days in summer. The pine forests and mountains are wonderful for walks, with the scents of wild Rosemary and Camomile in the air.

Some of the amenities in Pinoso:- Medical centre, Music collage, Sports centre, Swimming pools, football ground, excellent restaurants, bars and street cafes. The fiestas take place most weekends from May to September in the surrounding villages and other small towns. Pinoso's own fiesta is the first week in August for 10 days, people come from miles around to join the parades and dance until dawn.

Alicante and the airport are only about 35 minutes away, 60km to Torrevieja, 60kms to Benidorm, 60 km to Murcia.
